I'm making more Christmas decorations, what would you like to see on your Christmas tree? I think donkeys are under rated at the moment....

Hereford Art Market
I was a the Hereford Art Market this weekend, and had a great time! Bunting necklace were the most popular item again, one of my first designs from when I opened in 2011. I've been moving away from them because so many people make them now, even topshop had their own version (and who can compete with them?!) But on reflection, I think my items are different enough to stand up against others. They're decorated with my own hand drawn patterns and have a fresh colour combination, which is very summery.
I've decided I'll hand draw my other bunting necklace designs, so they all have my signature hand-drawn and handmade from start to finish style.

Handmade Gifts : DK Crafts
Wow! I'm in a book. In Handmade Gifts by DK I show you how to make my popular tote bags, including the pencil design above. This was the first bag print I listed in my online shop and I'm happy to share a technique in printing it. (One that you can do at home without any expensive equipment!)
In the back of the book you'll see my other stencil shapes for printing. Once you've copied and cut out the designs you canhave fun playing about with repeat patterns or changing scale of the shapes.
Take a closer look Here or even buy from a local retailer!? It's full of lots of lovely crafts and tips. I'm going to make the macaroons!

Pet Print Cushion Covers!
I've made some new cushion covers for my shop. These are hand silkscreen printed using my own drawings of animals, specifically pets. I love these bright coloured fabrics, I can make each print up as any colour but these were the ones I was drawn to. I've had people asking for more muted colours like powder blue, so they'll be 'coming soon'. As I had sew each cushion cover I can select any colour or fabric you'd like!
I think these would look great in a modern home, lined up on a sofa. They really brighten a room. Even Ed the cat was interested in them:

Paint your own egg cups
Inspired at last to paint some of my egg cups. The pens work really well! I had to break the designs up into sections as the paint took a couple of days to dry. I went with faces as a motif as the egg cup shape lends its self to being a little person. I'm going to do more! It's quite addictive to sketch characters once I got the format sorted.

May desk
This is a snapshot of my desk right now, it looks almost artfully arranged but it's always like this, and it show all the little projects I'm working on now.
I'm making more letters for my floral alphabet necklace range (L and J's have sold the most and I need to re-stock!), the prototype arrow necklace which I love! And a gold bow necklace made from up-cycled leather.
